Wine Tasting - "Ivy By The Shore"

On May 10th we gathered at the Hilton Columbus (located at East Town Center) to listen to Sean Nicholson, Assistant Professor of Policy Analysis & Management, present a provoking talk entitled "Are Health Care Costs Actually Falling?." The thesis presented as part of this talk was that while Health Care costs may be rising in absolute terms, when you take into account value provided by those health services in terms of extended life spans or freedom from depression that in some cases the value of the services outweight their cost, though in other cases there might not be a solid benefit.

This talks was sponsored by the Cornell Boardroom Executive MBA Program, which is a brand new degree program offered by the Johnson School of Management, which provides an MBA degree tailored to business leaders with 5-30 years of experience and through the use of advanced video conferencing allows them to obtain their degree while still working full time. Columbus, OH is one of the initial markets in which this program is currently being offered.
